History
Lusben was born as Lusben Craft in 1956 from the acronym of two Tuscan entrepreneurs, and even back then, it set itself to be the leading company in the refit and maintenance of crafts up to 30 meters across the Mediterranean. Lusben was the first company to start this type of business; the know-how strategies acquired during that period of time have become its strong point in the nautical industry. The company has grown and has established itself internationally in the Refit industry, creating cutting edge facilities and only relying on qualified personal. The facility in Viareggio is identified as a site of excellence for the construction of luxury yachts.
Lusben in 2004, to further amplify the range of services, has acquired a new site in Livorno to be able to operate on over 120 meters. On this site, the new area Giga has been completed, maximising our ability to assist shipowners, crews, and the management of increasingly larger Yachts. In order to develop the Refit & Repair areas, in 2019 the shipyard in Varazze began part of the Lusben network. This site is characterised by modern facilities and cutting-edge technologies.
